The Idaho Falls Relay for Life was a huge success! Raising over $14,000 for the American Cancer Society in an effort to fight Cancer. The night was filled with dancing, laughing, snacks and the most important part GIVING LIFE!!

Miss Idaho International 2009 Courtney COnner lost her mother to cancer 6 weeks after winning her title. As all three of the 2011 Idaho International Queens platforms are related to cancer they were overjoyed to take part in such a wonderful event to support one of their sister queens.

Little girls in Pocatello were treated like royalty Saturday. It was all part of the Princess Tea with Mrs. Idaho Intl at the AmeriTel Inn.

Girls had a chance to visit the royal bakery and make cookies, the royal jeweler to make crowns and lastly visit the royal salon to get mini-manicures.

Brandi says it's nice to be able to give the girls someone to look up. "I think that is the best thing about Mrs. Idaho is seeing the excitement in the little girl's eyes. When they see a princess or they see me walk into a room and they'll go look mom, there is Mrs. Idaho. And that is the best part of having this title," said Brandi, Mrs. Idaho Intl 2010.

Senior Citizen Day

Brandi Townsend Mrs. Idaho Intl 2010 was so blessed to volunteer at Senior Citizen Day in Pocatello, Idaho. She met some wonderful people, became buddies with several residents of the local assisted living facilities. Both of her grandmothers attended the event as well. "It was great to give them a hug and take a quick picture as Mrs. Idaho International!" ~ Brandi

Treasure Valley Night Light Parade

Tonight was the Treasure Valley Night Light Parade in Caldwell. This is always such a fun event. It was a toasty 24 degrees outside with a wind chill but all the ladies had a fun time!

Pocatello Festival of Trees

Mrs. Idaho Intl 2010 Brandi Townsend attended the Pocatello Festival of Trees Gala. It was a wonderful evening benefiting the children of Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25. Brandi visited with Arlo Luke, a successful Idaho Entrepreneur. Ironically, Brandi teaches his granddaughters in her Sunday School class and he was a guest speaker in one of her business classes at Idaho State University. It was a wonderful evening!

Old Town Pocatello Holiday parade

Mrs. Idaho International 2010 Brandi Townsend attended the Old Town Pocatello Holiday Festival. Brandi's favorite part of the festival is taking her family to see Santa and Frosty the Snowman. They visited the "Talking Christmas Tree", and met Santa's Elves. Even Mrs. Idaho isn't too old to sit on Santa's lap! The evening wrapped up with the annual night light parade.

Canyon County Festival of Trees

Tonight Miss Idaho International 2010 Lacey Vander Boegh, Teen Idaho International 2o1o Taylor Lybbert helped out at the Canyon County Festival of Tree's to benefit the Canyon County Meals of Wheels. Also there to help was Miss Ada County Andrea Espinosa, Miss Canyon County Emily Frink and Mrs. Southwest Idaho Holly Drinkard.

They are also pictured with Nampa Mayor Tom Dale, Nampa City Council Woman Pam White and her husband Steve.

Also Thank-you to Margene's Bridal in Boise for the dress.

Boise Holiday Parade

Mrs. Miss, Teen and Little Miss Idaho International all participated in the Boise Holiday Parade to help kick off the Christmas season. Also joining the Idaho International Queens were some of the 2010 contestants including: Mrs. Western Idaho Lorene Rasmussen, Mrs. Southwest Idaho Holly Drinkard, Teen Ada County Amanda Wester, Teen Caldwell Alyssa Watson, and Teen Canyon County Amanda Wilder.

Idaho International Queen were able to walk around before the parade and have their photos taken with other royalty that was in the parade also.

Capital for a Day

Mrs. Idaho Intl 2010 Brandi Townsend was honored to visit Lava Hot Springs (one of her favorite places) as Governor Otter payed a visit to this small, southeastern Idaho town as Capital for a Day. Brandi met many city, county and state leaders. As she listened to the discussion, she was overwhelmed with pride..proud to live in this great state and fabulous country.

They were served the best Thai food for lunch prepared by a little restaurant in Lava. One of the many highlights of the day for Brandi was running into a friend from high school who was home visiting from Pennsylvania.
